The Best Corkscrew In The World Gets Some Competition…

Recently, a top wine products supplier introduced a corkscrew that will give both the Black Rabbit (cool, but not our favorite) and the Silver Rabbit (our favorite) a run for their money.
The newest competition for the Metrokane Rabbit is the Vertical Rabbit from, who else? Metrokane.
Other Metrokane corkscrews, like the Houdini, are fine but they don’t come close to the original Rabbit. The new Vertical Rabbit is eye-appealing (of course) but also very functional. In many ways it’s actually better than the original.
The new Vertical Rabbit is the easiest corkscrew ever. It’s as easy as placing the opener over the bottle and lowering and raising the lever – that’s it. It pulls a cork in three seconds and ejects it immediately simply by lowering and raising the lever. As of this writing, the Vertical Rabbit comes in three colors: Candy-Apple Red (very, very sharp); Gun-Metal Grey (classy); and Velvet Black (goes with everything).
Given that this may be the best corkscrew of all time, it’s easy to figure out that it’s not cheap. Amazon currently lists these for $60 with free shipping.
